Why We Started The Only Outdoor Movie Podcast

Well, as you may expect, we started it for fun. We (hosts Grant Crenshaw and Drew McKinney) grew up as best friends and movie-lovers. Stole My Line started as a recording of their friendly movie discussions. "But what if we recorded it outside?" Drew texted Grant during pre-production. What a question. What if a movie podcast didn't sound like it was recorded in a soundproof studio?

We record every episode outside by a fire: smoke in our eyes, cicadas in the background, and rain (often) on the horizon. We now claim the title, "the only outdoor movie podcast." We are confident that no other film show puts you around a campfire while debating modern cinema, current television, and flaming hot takes.

Our weekly episodes mix new-release reviews, franchise rewatch series (we just ranked every Spider-Man movie a few weeks ago), reactions to shows like Lanterns, and our "Weekly Watch" series digging into classic films. Join us around the fire. You can rest, weary traveler.
